Partner Disclosure

Who actually lends the money, what they decide, and what MoneyMitra is paid for making the introduction.

Last updated 7 September 2026

In short

A plain-English summary. The clauses below are what actually governs.

  • We are an intermediary. We do not lend.
  • Every loan is made by a bank or NBFC regulated by the Reserve Bank of India.
  • The partner decides whether to approve you, at what rate, and on what terms. We cannot influence that.
  • We are paid by the partner, not by you, and only if your loan is disbursed.
  • You will be told which partner your enquiry is going to, before it goes.

Why we publish this

The Reserve Bank of India's Guidelines on Digital Lending require that a borrower can see, upfront, the names of the lenders on whose behalf an intermediary is dealing, and the nature of the arrangement between them. This page is that disclosure.

Our role

MoneyMitra is a service operated by Vantablack Capital Consulting Pvt. Ltd., trading as Vanta Black. We collect your requirement, explain the options, and introduce you to a lending partner that we believe fits it.

We are not a bank or an NBFC. We hold no lending licence. We do not disburse money, we do not service loans, and we do not carry out recovery.

Our lending partners

We work with banks and non-banking financial companies regulated by the Reserve Bank of India. Your advisor names the specific partner your enquiry is going to, before any of your details are shared with them, and you can decline at that point.

We publish the full list of partners on this page as those arrangements are finalised. If you would like to know which partners we currently work with before you enquire, ask us and we will tell you.

What the partner decides

The lending partner alone decides:

  • Whether to lend to you at all.
  • How much to lend.
  • The interest rate, and whether it is fixed or floating.
  • Processing fees, insurance requirements, prepayment and penal charges.
  • The tenure and the repayment schedule.
  • What documents and security it requires.

Approval is at the partner's sole discretion and subject to its eligibility criteria. Nothing we say to you is a commitment that a loan will be granted, or granted on particular terms.

The Key Facts Statement

Before you accept a loan, the lending partner must give you a Key Facts Statement. It sets out, in a standard format, the amount, the interest rate, the Annual Percentage Rate, every fee, the total you will repay, the tenure, the recovery mechanism and the partner's grievance officer.

It is the document that binds. Read it, and ask us anything in it that is not clear. Do not rely on anything on this website in preference to it.

How we are paid

The lending partner pays us a fee when a loan we have introduced is disbursed. You pay us nothing.

Fee levels differ between partners. Our obligation, set out in our Fair Practices Code, is to recommend on the basis of what fits your requirement, and to tell you what we are paid on a product if you ask.

Your data and the partner

We share your details with a lending partner only when you have asked us to approach one, and we tell you which partner before we do it. From that point the partner handles your data under its own privacy policy as an independent Data Fiduciary. Our Privacy Policy explains our side in full.

Keeping this current

We review this page whenever a partner is added or removed. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
